**Job Overview**:
The objective of the Human Resources Analyst is to provide HR support to the Human Resources team and to managers, leaders and employees of the Brenda Strafford Foundation on a diverse range of human resource functions including recruitment, performance management, training and development, salary administration and employee issues with referral to appropriate HR support where required. This position plays a key role on the HR Information System project team.

Some of the primary responsibilities include
- Assist with the full range of functions for recruitment, selection and on-boarding appointments;
- Support an operationally excellent HR team by taking initiative to improve administrative processes;
- Assist with contemporary HR management practices which provide an effective, consistent and timely delivery of HR services to the Brenda Strafford Foundation to support organizational needs;
- Undertake HR project work as directed by the Director, Human Resources.
- Completes compulsory education modules as per schedule (six months of hire date), within 3 months of significant update or revision to training materials, every two years, thereafter.

**Please note this is a temporary full time role for 6 months duration.**

**Education and experience**:

- HR Diploma/certificate/degree
- CPHR designation would be considered an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources Management policies, practices, theories, concepts and systems;
- Knowledge and understanding of employment law and regulations, legislative issues and industry trends relating to Human Resources;
- Ability to work in an automated environment (HR Information Systems);
- High level of interpersonal skills, tact, judgment, diplomacy and the ability to communicate effectively;
- Excellent organization and time management skills enabling the balance of workloads and the prioritization of requests to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail. Good judgment, professionalism, credibility and diplomacy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $55,503.00-$60,000.00 per year
