Office Assistant

Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time employment and benefits.
Job duties
- Answer phone and take customer contact information
- Schedule tech for service/maintenance calls
- Follow up with customers after service
- Update customer service management program
- Submit payroll hours for payment
- Submit equipment warranty information for validation
- Maintain employee files
- Assist with inventory management
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Some basic bookkeeping
- Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying/scanning, and data entry
- Provide administrative support as needed
**Requirements**:
- Knowledge of equipment and language common to HVAC trade is an asset
- Experience with bookkeeping is an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively alone and within a team environment
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong command of the English language
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid class G driver's license with a clean driving record
- Own mode of transportation
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
