The Operations Coordinator at The JunXion will play a dynamic role that evolves based on the business needs. This role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, changing as the business progresses from the pre-opening stage to being fully operational and established. This position is integral to the management and future growth of The JunXion.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. General Duties
- Assist with a variety of tasks necessary for starting and running the business.
- Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, sourcing contractors, meeting

with contractors, assessing quotes, overseeing work, and facilitating their access

to the premises.

2. Collaborative Efforts
- Work closely with the management on various tasks.
- Some tasks may be shared or completed independently depending on the

situation and availability.

3. Flexible Working Hours
- Most work hours must fall within traditional parametres (M-F/9-5) with overlap

with ownership and other managers. However, there is flexibility for start/end

times, number of hours and even some weekend hours.
- Work hours will increase leading up to and after the venue opening, but not all

events will require full attendance.

4. Assisting the Manager
- Provide support in all areas required, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Tasks will be diverse, based on the current needs of The JunXion.

**Specific and General Tasks**

Stage 1 - Pre-opening

1. Administrative Tasks
- Conduct research on products, pricing, by-laws, regulations, vendors,

competition, and green economy processes.
- Develop contracts, waivers, codes of conduct, disciplinary actions, cash handling

procedures, inventory checklists, policies, staff procedures, and training

materials.
- Handle advertising and marketing, including marketing plans, website, social
- Set up financial systems, including credit card systems, budgets, online payment

methods, and maintaining financial records and taxes.
- Manage public relations, including CRM, partnerships with charities, and

handling inquiries and complaints.
- Establish emergency procedures like first aid kits, fire escape plans, and EAPs.

2. Physical and Space Management
- Accept deliveries and packages.
- Perform light renovation work, assist with carrying items, setting up and tearing

down event setups, and general cleaning.
- Run cords and wires as necessary.

3. Pick-ups and Drop-offs
- Handle occasional pick-ups and drop-offs as required.

4. Coordination
- Oversee renovations, including maintaining a presence, answering questions,

resolving problems, making decisions, and reporting.
- Schedule staff, third-party stakeholders, and event dates and times.
- Liaise with caterers and manage food logistics and presentation.
- Coordinate events, including itinerary planning, vendor management, staff

coordination, and equipment setup.
- Participate in recruitment drives and staff training.

5. Training
- Conduct training on health and safety, operating procedures, serving etiquette,

guest experience, staff interactions, and compliance with regulations.

6. Input and Creativity
- Provide input, perspective, and creative ideas for improving operations and

enhancing the business.

**Stage 2 - Post-opening**

1. Ongoing Administrative and Physical Tasks
- Continue performing many pre-opening tasks as needed.

2. Event Management
- Oversee and manage all aspects of events at The JunXion.

3. Versatility
- Be prepared to assist in any role and adjust staff alignments to cover shortfalls

seamlessly.

4. Backup Plans
- Develop and maintain backup procedures, plans, and vendor lists.

5. Customer Relations
- Engage with guests, defuse volatile situations, demonstrate product knowledge,

and uphold The JunXion culture.

6. Evaluation
- Assess staff performance, procedures, and third-party vendors, recommending

changes and improvements as necessary.

7. Inspection
- Ensure correct food presentation, staff attire, layout, and color schemes before

events.

8. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage supplies.

- Shared responsibility with management.

2. VR Escape Room and VR Gaming Equipment
- Primarily managed with ongoing involvement from the team.

3. Camp Set Up
- Shared responsibility with management.

- Mostly complete, requiring only minor contributions.

5. Décor
- Primarily handled by the Operations Coordinator with involvement from

management.

6. Point of Sale (POS) System
- Shared responsibility with management.
