The Edmonton Social Planning Council, a charitable, non-profit social research and advocacy agency founded in 1940, is seeking a **Capacity Support Coordinator **Research Service and Capacity Building Program.

**Hours**:35 hours per week; limited evenings and weekends may be required

**Salary Range**:$50,000 to $57,000 per year depending on education and experience

**Supervisor**:Executive Director

**Status**:

- Full Time Contract Position (July 2023 to December 2024)
- Hybrid work setting

The ESPC is seeking a **Project Coordinator** for the Research Service and Capacity Building Program. Recognizing that direct service agencies have limited research capacity, ESPC is dedicating resources to work with agencies to build their capacity and identify research needs and gaps. This work will also serve to help inform stakeholders of social trends. This position will also work closely with the rest of the ESPC team to support our volunteers in their capacity to assist the organization with meaningful contributions.

**Required Qualifications and skills**:
A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences or related with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of work experience;
Research and analytical skills required;
Must be proficient in full MS Office Suite;
Excellent communications and writing skills;
Demonstrably high standards for quality, consistency and completeness, with a strong attention to detail;
Ability to work proactively and independently with high-level direction and guidance from the Executive Director;
Strong capacity for planning, project management, and problem-solving; and

Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to engage enthusiastically with a wide range of individuals.
