The Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Business Supports (RQB) Division is responsible for regulatory oversight of child intervention and child care including statutory functions, workforce development and training, quality assurance, and client and system data management. The division is also responsible for business planning and reporting, and business supports. The Division works closely with the Child Intervention Delivery (CID) division, which serves approximately 10,000 children annually under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act. Of that number, approximately 7,000 children are in the care of the director at any given time.

The Ministry and key stakeholders require reliable, objective and readily available information to make informed decisions. These electronic and paper records must be managed safely, securely and effectively so that access to child intervention case records are organized and filed according to record and information management policies, regulations, legislation and best practices.

Reporting to the Manager, CI Business and Operations Support, the CI Business Support Coordinator is responsible for participating in and coordinating a number of records management initiatives, including digitization (scanning) projects, the implementation of the new Electronic Content Management (ECM) solution and harmonizing case file management processes with information and record management policies and best practices. This position will also provide essential administrative support to the CIBS unit and the PIEP branch (as part of a team of administrative staff) such as accounts payable, inventory management and supply ordering, surplus, 1GX support, etc.

This position is responsible for:

- Supporting Child Intervention staff to use the ECM system to its capacity and intent.
- Providing support for quality assurance and scanning audit activities conducted on digital records.
- Liaising with users, Ministry and DFNA staff at all levels to resolve challenges and work to find solutions.
- Interfacing with CIBS Support desk team to support their tickets and data fixes.
- Administrative work for the unit and branch such as processing invoices, maintaining supply inventory, 1GX support, etc.
- Supporting records management projects, including digitization (scanning) projects.
- Providing records expertise and support to program areas related to the management of semi-active and inactive records.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
High school diploma and a minimum of **three years** related experience.
A diploma in record management/business administration would be considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.

Equivalency: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with records and information management.
- Experience working within a governmental body.

- Experience completing quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of how the provincial government operates, reporting lines and organizational structure within the Division, as well as the Regions and DFNAs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong customer service skills.
