**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, Skills and Simulation Centres, the Nursing Coordinator, Simulation Centres will manage the operational aspects related to the delivery of quality simulation in the undergraduate and graduate programs at the College of Nursing. learning. The coordinator will liaise with the CoN Nursing Coordinator, Skills Centre to ensure the simulation centres keep abreast of changes within Shared Health, WRHA and CRNM policies, procedures, and/or equipment changes that may impact simulation learning. The coordinator will be required to transfer this knowledge to Director and to the staff of the Simulations Centres.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- Undergraduate degree in a related study area required.
- Degree or diploma in a healthcare program (medicine, nursing, or related healthcare field) an asset.
- Seven years of related experience required.
- Experience in supervising staff is required.
- Experience providing support and guidance in the use of advanced technologies - simulation mid-high fidelity mannequins, VR technologies, associated software required.
- Experience with medical equipment (Pyxis medication administration, infusion pumps, vital signs machines etc) required.
- Experience analyzing needs, identifying, and proposing preferred options, and facilitating the acquisition and integration of solutions required.
- Experience in working in a simulation environment is an asset.
- Experience working at the University of Manitoba with an understanding of policy and procedures with respect to IT is an asset.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
