**SALARY**: $46,862 - $65,993 per annum

**POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)



**DUTIES**
Reporting to the Director, Interdisciplinary Health and Community Services Simulation Center, this position coordinates the daily operational needs of the Simulation Centre by providing administrative support, purchasing services and assistance with inventory management. Working with academic programs to plan and schedule academic labs, simulations and special events, the incumbent will book space and assist with ordering of supplies/equipment to ensure all School of Health Sciences and Community Services programs, and external clients have sufficient resources and the correct environment in which to meet lab related curriculum delivery. The incumbent will respond to inquiries from students, external partners and vendors and liaise with staff from a variety of programs.

The incumbent also ensures the effective operation of the Directors Office by directing and maintaining the flow of work, triaging situations, coordinating the Director’s schedule, and facilitating communications with a broad range of stakeholders.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary certificate in office administration or related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Recent and relevant experience providing administrative support and performing office administrative responsibilities
- Several years of customer service experience including the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including building trust, respect and appreciation for others' needs and perspectives
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and handle a high-volume workload with a diversity of tasks, showing a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and show initiative with mínimal supervision
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience maintaining confidential information
- Ability to schedule and monitor multiple calendars for management or department
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Understanding of change management
- Experience working in a post-secondary environment

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
