**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, Skills and Simulation Centres, the Nursing Coordinator, Skills Centre will manage the operational aspects related to the delivery of quality skills education. The Nursing Coordinator will liaise with health care agencies and ensure the skills centre keeps abreast of changes within Shared Health, WRHA and CRNM policies, procedures, and/or equipment changes that may impact skills education. The Nursing Coordinator will be required to transfer this knowledge to the Director and to the staff of the Skills Centre.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor of Nursing degree required.
- Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba required.
- Three years of clinical nursing experience required.
- Experience in supervising staff required.
- Experience in working in a skills lab environment an asset.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills required.
- Demonstrated professionalism and maintenance of confidentiality at all times are required.
- Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Demonstrated ability to use online platforms for remote working such as (but not limited to) MS Teams, Zoom and Webex is required.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and collegial relationships required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure required.
- Ability to work within a team as well as work independently required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
