**About Our Opportunity**:
The Engagement, Equity and Belonging Branch supports our people and the health of our organization in five different areas: Communications and Outreach, Learning and Development, Workforce Diversification, Accessible and Inclusive Workplace Environments, and Monitoring and Evaluation.

This role will support training and development programs in Labour, Skills and Immigration. This includes evaluating training and development programs and creating and selecting inclusive resources to benefit all programs in the department. You will work as part of a team focused on supporting the equity, inclusion, and well-being of everyone in the department. This is a role where you can positively impact your colleagues on a daily basis.

The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the department's ongoing equity and belonging work. This role focuses on the research and development of programs, training coordination, and awareness-raising regarding equity, diversity, organizational wellness, and psychological safety. Responsibilities include assisting in the delivery and administration of new and existing training; building curriculum and learning opportunities; supporting special projects and engagement activities related to equity, diversity and inclusion and evaluating and reporting on the success of this work.

As a key member of the Engagement, Equity and Belonging Branch, you work from an equity and inclusion lens, ensuring all training, program development, engagement, and communications are inclusive of the diversity of the department.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
You will work in a highly collaborative and energetic environment and carry out the day-to-day functions with mínimal direction. The functions of this role include the following, but are not limited to:

- **Research**:

- You will assist in the development of information material (guides, manuals, etc.) related to current research and ongoing trends in equity and engagement on a regular basis.
- **Training and Development **- You will coordinate the creation and maintenance of department-wide equity and inclusion training, tools, and resources. This will include an evaluation of the effectiveness of our programs and the coordination of internal learning opportunities.
- **Evaluation and Monitoring **- You will support ongoing equity and engagement activities using ongoing tracking, survey, and evaluation tools. You will create surveys and evaluations for ongoing training and engagement activities and assist in creating departmental reports.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
This may be the right opportunity for you if you graduated within the past 3 years from a university, community college, or a recognized trade school in the discipline of social sciences: Sociology, Social Work, Political Studies, Women and Gender studies.

You demonstrate high levels of tact when interpreting, communicating, and reporting information both verbally and in writing. You have exceptional time management skills and can comfortably manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
