Arrow is a general contracting company that specializes in Commercial and Multi Residential Construction. Clients include the City of Ottawa, Federal Government, School Boards, Ottawa Community Housing, and various multi residential property owners.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in human resource management
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships proactively with employees as all levels
- Comfortable working in a stand-alone position

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Lead all Health and Safety initiatives and manage policy updates and creation in keeping with provincial legislative requirements including Workers Compensation claims and accommodation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
