Bookkeeper/office Manager

**About us**
A small Hamilton based trucking company requires a permanent bookkeeper / office manager.
**Duties**:
- Manage accounting tasks in Quickbooks Pro Desktop, such as bank reconciliations and payroll processing, government remittances, WSIB, and journal entries.
- Oversee accounts receivable and responsible for ontime invoicing to ensure timely collection of payments from customers. Oversee accounts payable and process invoices and ensure ontime payments to suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Oversee general office upkeep and organization to ensure office runs smoothly
**Experience**:
- Certificate in Accounting or related field experience an asset.
- Proven experience as an Bookkeeper / Office Manager in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Pro Desktop
- Familiarity with technical accounting procedures and bank reconciliation processes.
- Experience with payroll processing and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
