**About us**

Alliston B.I.A supports the promotion and development of the business areas of Downtown Alliston. Currently hiring an Administrative Assistant (_**Temporary Part Time**_)

**Duties**
- Assist in various tasks: research, communicating with ABIA members, Downtown events Potato festival, Monster Mash, Christmas Crawl, Farmers market)
- Provide support to the ABIA Board of Directors
- Perform Standard Office procedures: Organizes meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, prepares and distributes minutes to appropriate staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with organizing meetings

**Qualifications**
- 1 year experience in an administrative role
- Must be social and a people person
- Good writing and communication skills
- Available on occasional weekends and evenings/early mornings
- Ability to multi task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to proofread documents for accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- organized
