**Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator provides overall operational support to ensure the successful delivery of TESC’s Human Resources Programs.

The Human Resources Coordinator uses his/her knowledge and skills to provide effective and timely support to the Human Resources Manager in the administration of programs, policies, and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks, such as preparing HR documents, handling inquiries, and providing support to employees and managers.

Assist with recruitment activities by maintaining job description database, posting vacancies to appropriate sites, conducting pre-screens and interviews.

Prepare new hire packages, deliver TESC Orientation presentations, and work with various departments to schedule required activities to promote a seamless onboarding experience.

Support the administration of the performance management program and employee development.

Administer the group benefits program, pension plan, and employee assistance program (EAP).

Receive and process vacation requests promptly, maintaining absenteeism database.

Gather, interpret, and present data in reports as well as create organizational charts.

Assist in the development, implementation, and updating of HR policies, procedures, and forms.

Draft, review, and edit internal and external communications for quality and consistency of messaging.

Participate in the development of partnerships with educational institutions, groups, and associations by attending career fairs and selected events.

Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing employee experience.

Support the HR Manager in executing HR strategies and organizational development initiatives.

Act as a TESC ambassador by actively participating in special events and initiatives, as well as the Social and Wellness Committees.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.

Provide general administrative support and assistance as required.

**Job Specifications**:
A University Degree or College diploma in Human Resources or Business-related program is required.

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience.

Experience working in a construction environment an asset.

Knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and regulations.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong organizational and time management skills for effective prioritizing and planning of activities in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks.

Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

Familiarity with social media and use of various platforms for recruitment purposes is an asset.

Strong administrative skills to create organizational charts, reports and other documents.

Proficiency in Visio is an asset.

Initiative-taking self-starter.

Strong customer service focus, ability to work as part of a dynamic team as well as unsupervised.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
