We are looking for a dynamic person to join our team as a Receptionist:
The Receptionist is expected to:
- Represent the Profit Center in a professional manner
- Uphold our Core Values and Ethics with every interaction
- Be an effective Teammate in the Profit Centre
- Be courteous and friendly; building long lasting loyal customer and vendor relationships
- Be detail oriented, organized and accurate
- Analyze and solve problems
- Prioritize tasks
Job Summary
Receptionist duties will include creating a welcoming environment, greeting, informing and directing visitors and teammates in a warm, courteous, and professional manner
Job Duties
- Answers the phone in a timely, positive manner as well as direct calls to the appropriate teammate
- Greets and assisting visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Assisting with a variety of tasks: invoicing, filing, answering phones, daily bank deposits
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Ensuring reception and other common areas are clean and organized
- Understand and follow all safety regulations
- Uphold Emco Core Values at all times
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by immediate supervisor or Profit Centre Manager

- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Communicating clearly, both in writing and verbally
- Display impeccable and professional phone demeanor
- Having a friendly and engaging personality in order to foster and maintain positive relationships
- Display strong customer service skills in order to anticipate other people’s needs and handle their requests in a proactive and tactful manner
- Being a demonstrated team player
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Efficiently filing documents, as well as proactively maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Great Attention to detail and high levels of thoroughness:
- Staying focused during highly repetitive tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills:
- Effectively reading and interpreting information and instructions
- Using creativity and mature judgement to resolve problems in a timely manner
- Administrative skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer word, excel, OFFICE 365
- High levels of flexibility, responsiveness and resourcefulness:
- Having an extensive knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and equipment
- Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Read, write, speak and understand English
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with customer service
- Use of the Microsoft Office software
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
