- Undergraduate university degree from an accredited, recognized university

**Experience**:

- 2 years of public relations or communications experience
- Recruitment experience or client/ service interfacing experience is preferred

Skills, Abilities & Expertise:

- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on professional presentations to external contacts
- Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized and effective personal work environment
- Ability to efficiently handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting effective priorities
- Demonstrated public speaking experience to large and diverse groups
- Ability to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work within a flexible schedule to accommodate the University’s events and activities
- Positive, outgoing attitude with a genuine customer service orientation
- Self-driven, independent thinker who is highly motivated and possesses an intrinsic passion for quality
- Ability to remain highly motivated, resilient, innovative, and collaborative when faced with challenges
- A strong record of teamwork with the motivation and ability to work independently with little supervision
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Detailed knowledge of the university environment and structure and the ability to liaise and work effectively in a team environment and with members of the campus community at all levels
- A working knowledge of post-secondary programs throughout Canada is an asset
