**Job Description**:
The role is a blend of project execution and team management functions, including design, project management, proposal writing, business development, and client liaison with the experience and enthusiasm to enhance and grow the municipal community infrastructure team.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
**Community Infrastructure Group Manager role**:

- Team management
- Currently organized with three direct reports: Engineering Manager, Field Manager, and CAD Design Manager.
- Organization of the Community Infrastructure group is flexible and can be adjust to suit needs of the team.
- Lead the above teams for projects including:

- Sewer and watermain design/replacement/reconstruction,
- Land development,
- Roadway and intersection improvements, and Site servicing design.
- Be the face of AECOM in the office market area including industry events as appropriate.
- Recognized leader to create an all-inclusive supportive office/work environment to drive and deliver across all AECOM businesses and practices.
- Fosters collaboration across multiple businesses and practices at one or more office/site locations.
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and specifications
- Perform Contract Administration duties, including contractor interaction, progress payment certificates and convene progress site meetings
- Communicate and work with other project team members in London and other regional offices to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity
- Liaise with and assist other departments and offices in the provision of design services to other clients, as applicable
- Perform financial and budget control duties on projects

**Client Account Manager role**:

- Identify upcoming municipal infrastructure pursuits with emphasis on the municipal water/wastewater/conveyance markets that are consistent with AECOMs water business line and growth strategy.
- Serve as AECOMs primary point of contact with clients, and continually considering how clients can best be served by AECOM and ensuring high-quality service is provided.
- Understand AECOMs obligations on current client contracts.
- Regularly meet with client staff from multiple levels of the client’s organization to obtain feedback on AECOM's performance and identify opportunities.
- Monitor client satisfaction and addresses performance issues.
- Ensure public sector clients become a sustainable source of repeat business.
- Develop marketing and client capture strategies.
- Lead the proposal development process including Statement of Qualifications, Technical Proposals and Presentations
- Manage, support and/or lead project teams on the design of water and sanitary sewer conveyance systems; infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation; master planning, and other studies.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering +substantial experience in detailed design with 10+ years of municipal engineering design and project management in a consulting engineering environment delivering municipal projects1
- P.Eng. (Ontario)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with design of trenchless methods for installation of small and large diameter watermains and sewers
- Experience in transportation design/reconstruction projects
- Experience with coaching and guiding less experienced engineers in delivery of design assignments
- Strong technical and analytical skills, good understanding of OPSS and OPSD
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as team building, strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to write winning proposals and obtain new work
- Good working knowledge of the Municipal Class EA document
