Bring your legal knowledge and administrative skills to PRA Group Canada as a Legal & Office Administration Assistant

**What you will do**:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Legal Administration, you will support the daily operations of the Legal Department. This role is the main liaison between the Legal & Support Administration Department and the team of Legal Recovery Specialists. You will be responsible for reviewing and actioning requests on a daily basis. This role also provides some receptionist and office administrative duties. More specifically, your duties will include:

- Review and update various accounting reports for final review by the manager
- Retrieve reports and distribute appropriately for follow-up
- Handle incoming mail received for the Legal Department, updating files accordingly
- Complete office supply order as required
- Work closely with various agents, process servers, and court offices
- Back up to various support staff, as needed
- Additional duties and projects as assigned by the manager

Other qualifications include:

- Secondary school diploma; post-secondary diploma in a Legal Assistant or Office Administration program is preferred
- Familiarity with court documents and processes; experience in collections and/or Small Claims Court procedures is preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role; experience working in a law firm or legal department is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Experience interacting with legal professionals/defendants is preferred
- Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset
- Pass criminal background check
