**Note**: This is an Initiatives/Opportunities full-time temporary position for 1-year from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension.

**Duties**: Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Health Sciences, the Field/Clinical Placement Liaison is an integral member of a team and acts as a liaison and primary College contact of placement/clinical supervisors and students in the School of Health Sciences. The incumbent ensures legal contracts with agencies are in place; initiates and maintains all aspects of Workplace Safety Insurance; maintains databases of agency contracts; develops process for field/clinical and ensures they are followed, and liaises with agencies, faculty and students. The incumbent promotes campus programs generally and field practicum/placement opportunities specifically.**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience within settings such as medical, health sciences or administrative/business, and recent experience providing co-ordination and administrative support
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Joint health and safety certification is an asset
- Experience working with a variety of community resources using marketing, public relations skills and techniques
- Ability to use mediation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Experience working within the health sciences field
- Knowledge of the School of Health Sciences preferred
- Experience in an educational setting, supporting/guiding students an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
