about this team

The sample operations team manages the complete end to end life-cycle (order, receive, distribute, manage, exit and use) of top of production samples.

Samples represent critical business tools cross-functional partners use to make informed business decisions. By ensuring the efficient order, receipt and management of product, our partners can build on a foundation towards success that is supported by the sample operations team.

**a day in the life**: what you’ll do

The sample flow coordinator supports the creation, processing and distribution of key information specific to the internal use product programs. They work to ensure the accuracy of data, specific to order management and reporting for the IUP program, coloured development samples, and pre-bulk samples. The coordinator also ensures sample timelines are accurate and partners are aware of and adhering to deadlines.
- Produce comprehensive sample data tailored to the requesting team's need
- Ensure on time and accurate order management of sample orders, including tracking and delivery confirmation
- Update and maintain the Featured Styles Tracker
- Distributes orders to key global partners and maintains communications with partners throughout the buy process to remove barriers to hitting key by-whens
- Partner with the LLO Sample Coordinator to identify pain points in the order management process, and work collaboratively with the Sample Operations team to identify solves
- Consults with core functions of the sample operations team to space plan
- Supports the in-season and archive coordinators in identifying gaps directly impacting receiving, distribution and management of samples.
- Provides additional support for sample ordering across multiple departments where necessary
- Supports physical sample management of in-season samples and sample store samples where necessary

qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience working as a coordinator in a field in which information and data management was needed
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks day to day and week to week.
- Self starter - must be able to identify gaps and jump into solves quickly and efficiently to lessen organizational impact
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Must be an effective team player - must possess ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others effectively
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and have a willingness to learn and deepen knowledge of inventory management systems
- Experience in the apparel industry an asset, especially with specialized knowledge of apparel production
