The **Vancouver Pilates Centre** is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact in the studio, our front desk team are ambassadors of our ethos: providing a warm, open and supportive environment for people from all walks of life to focus on their health and wellness - _“Contrology _[Pilates] _is complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit”_, Joseph Pilates.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Greeting clients and visitors
- Assisting clients with bookings
- Processing payments
- Educating prospective clients about our services
- Onboarding new clients
- Ensuring the studio is kept clean and tidy

**Competencies and qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time-management skills, including managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
- Good computer skills and comfortable learning how to use new programs. Ideally, you also have experience using GSuite and Microsoft Office and are comfortable working on Macs
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
- 1 - 3 years prior work experience in an administrative, reception, or customer service role (preferably including scheduling)

**Renumeration**:
Training wage begins at $17.50 per hour (training period no longer than three months). Upon successful completion of probationary period, the hourly rate will be increased to $18.00.

**Shift pattern**:
The current shift pattern for this role is: Mon, Tue, Wed 1:00 - 7:00 pm, Fri 12:00 - 6:00 pm, every 2nd Saturday 9:00 - 12:30 pm.
