**Receptionist & Manager - Glow Salon & Spa Spruce Grove**
**Position Overview**:We are seeking a dynamic and professional individual to join our team as a **Receptionist & Manager** at our upscale salon spa. This dual-role position combines front-desk reception duties with managerial responsibilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and an exceptional client experience.**Key Responsibilities:Receptionist Duties**:
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using salon spa software.
- Process client transactions accurately, including payments, gift cards, and product sales.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and waiting area.
- Promote salon spa services, products, and special offers to clients.
- Perform follow up calls and evaluations of client services at scheduled times
- Keep up to date client files, on the salon software and paper copies
**Managerial Duties**:
- Supervise and support staff, including hairstylists, estheticians, and assistants, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Manage the salon spa’s daily operations, including staff schedules, inventory management, and facility upkeep.
- Manage service pricing to be competitive in our market area
- Monitor and address customer feedback, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Train and onboard new employees to uphold service excellence and company policies.
- Assist in marketing initiatives, such as social media updates, events, and promotions, to drive business growth.
- Track and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and sales targets, in collaboration with the owner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Keep up to date employee records, new certificates / qualifications
- Schedule regular employee reviews and staff meetings
- Handle all supplier accounts to make sure we are receiving the highest return on investment from each.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in a salon, spa, or customer service environment; prior management experience is a strong asset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for providing excellent client service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
