Position: Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Role:
We are looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant who will thrive in a small business environment where you will work in a variety of areas, including reception, office organization/management, clerical/administrative duties, and bookkeeping assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carrying out clerical duties such as data entry, assembly of reports, template creation/management, and digital/hard copy filing;
- Purchasing and managing inventory of office supplies;
- Deploying staff for field work and managing field work schedules;
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and entering payables information; and
- Supporting administration of company-related employee initiatives including (but not limited to) employee events, maintenance of employee/office areas (non-janitorial).

Skills / Qualifications:

- Secondary school diploma (minimum)
- Administrative experience in a consulting environment (preferred)
- Transportation to get to and from our office in a reliable, punctual manner
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office software (specifically Word and Excel)
- Proficiency with Quickbooks (online version)
- Proven time management discipline and ability to manage competing priorities

**Job Type**: Part-time, permanent, 2 to 3 days per week (in-person at Kitchener office).

Schedule: Regular office hours are 8:00 - 5:00 Monday to Friday, 1 hour unpaid lunch.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
