Canadians know CBC/Radio-Canada for its programming and its presence, but there’s much more happening behind the scenes. Whether your field of expertise is finance, HR, communications or IT, you are the highly-skilled professional that makes our business run smoothly.

Are you the next HR Administrative Support (Workday, HR Operations) to join the Shared Services Absence team? We are looking for someone dynamic with the ability to provide support in the administering of Disability and Long term absence files. While the work must conform to CBC standard operations, HR Policies, Collective Agreements, current tax legislation and labor standards and administrative procedures, there is the opportunity and a requirement for independent judgment and decision making within sets of complex parameters.

We are looking to fill 1 permanent role.

**Responsibilities**:
- Participate in the administration of the disability and long term absence files by providing administrative support to assist employees, managers, HR Business Partners and Disability Specialist Management- Verify requests to ensure that they are properly authorized, documented and in compliance with all programs related to the disability and long-term absence and ensure they are aligned with CBC/Radio-Canada policies, Workday processes, collective agreements, current tax legislation and labor standards. Follow-up with requester, HR Business Partners, third party, etc. as required.- Deliver accurate and timely processing of all records in Workday, such as the disability benefits payment, the payment of rehabilitation hours, estimation of additional family leave benefits, benefit elections, etc.- Ensure that changes have been applied correctly in the pay system by reviewing the draft pay results, when required.- Work closely with other areas such as HR Business Partner, Industrial Relations, Compensation, Disability Specialist Management, Shared Services to ensure payroll information is appropriately entered in the system and to answer administration questions related to disability and/or long term absence.- Assist with the maintenance of templates and processes to ensure Workday is aligned accordingly and to ensure the team has the tools required to work effectively.- Handle highly confidential and sensitive data contained in employee files.- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent.- Two (2) years of experience performing duties similar or related to this position.- Bilingualism required, oral and written (French and English).- Attention to detail required.- Knowledge of HR Management systems such as Workday is an asset.- Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities.- Discretion, diplomacy and tact when communicating with employees and/or managers; good interpersonal skills.- Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.- Demonstrate good judgment, initiative and resourcefulness.- Ability to work overtime.
