The Intern, Assistant Maintenance Coordinator will learn about maintenance planning and work with the Maintenance coordinator and maintenance supervisor to ensure that all preventive maintenance programs are executed and documented. Functions will include supporting transition of preventive maintenance data and data entry to expedite transition.

The Internship Program will begin on May 15th and end August 11th, 2023.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...
- Assist in ensuring spare parts inventories are regularly updated as parts are being used and keeping track of critical spares.
- Ensure work orders for completed preventive maintenance and corrective work are updated on MP2 (software)
- Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Coordinator in updating inventories for assets, spare parts prior to migration to Fiix CMMS

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU...
- Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business management, process engineering or a similar discipline relevant. (Second or third year undergrad or first year Master students);
- Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;
- Have previous related internship experience (an asset);
- Previous experience in food or dairy industry (an asset)
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and autonomy;
- Have strong time management skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
