The hourly rate would be between $72.00 - $75.00 as an independent contractor.

**Responsibilities**:
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling multi-disciplinary field execution of contract trades employed in the repair, adjustment, modification, removal, and/or installation of plant equipment and facilities while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with CFT Maintenance Coordinator and Terminal Supervisor to build and maintain schedules.
- Establish regular scheduling review meetings with CFTs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment standards, and relevant internal policies.
- Assist in developing maintenance programs, improving processes, and procedures.
- Monitor and manage work requirements and requests, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
- Continuously enhance and optimize job plans, task lists, strategies, and procedures.
- Manager short
- and long-range maintenance plans, adjusting for resource availability and work requirements.
- Prepare cost-effective job plans for scheduling, including parts, materials, tools, services, and documentation.
- Sustain an effectively planned maintenance schedule.

**Education and Experience**:

- Journeyperson or Red Seal certification in a valid Mechanical Discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years’ experience Maintenance planning in the Oil & Gas sector
- SAP and Microsoft Suite experience (planning/scheduling)
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
- Valid driver’s license
