**Human Resources Manager - Corporate**

The HR Manager, Corporate will manage, co-ordinate and assist in the activities of the Corporate Human Resources department at Plasman, as a trusted advisor for the business & corporate employee base will provide functional support and/or lead corporate wide HR initiatives and specific HR projects in North America.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Build strong relationships with the corporate management teams and collaborate to identify gaps, solutions and implement changes.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Collaborate with the corporate management teams to contribute to the success & profitability of the business by developing and implementing short & long term strategies, plans, policies and programs.
- Act as an Advisor to leaders by providing guidance and/or coaching on sensitive confidential and complex HR issues.
- Develop strategies for developing talent, succession planning and onboarding within the respective teams being supported.
- Fully versed on the organizational structure, jobs and job content, requirements and can perform primary job evaluation of SGA positions for job classifications and compensation comparators.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel including coaching, leadership development, performance management and employee relations.
- Work on various initiatives to drive leadership and cultural alignment across all corporate functions within North America.
- Act as a member of the larger HR team for Plasman, providing input and direction on overall HR issues and represent the views of the business functions in which they are partnered with.
- Administer payroll to Canadian Corporate employees
- Lead various projects that align with the overall of strategic vision
- Work closely with VP HR to determine how global strategy impacts the corporate leadership team and plot the course to enhance the business success through new and innovating HR programs.
- Administer immigration submissions and communications between legal and employees
- Lead the Recruitment Process corporate wide to effectively attract and select employees.
- Provide guidance to Senior Leadership Team in maintaining positive employee relations and safe work environment. Ensure personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 (includes ISO 9001) Standards, and company policies and procedures.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must possess a post secondary diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent
- CHRP an will be considered an asset

**MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have at least 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience (or equivalent) with a focus on positive employee relations, including experience in union and union free settings and experience in developing and implementing best-in-class policies & practices.
