Office Assistant/bookkeeper

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for daily bookkeeping tasks.
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Prepare budgets and assist with financial forecasting.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with Xero is preferred.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation, budgeting, and payroll processes.
- Experience with accounting software is essential for effective performance in this role.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports as needed.
- Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
