- Job SummaryThe UBC Faculty of Medicine, Island Medical Program, provides medical training to more than 3,400 undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate learners. The educational programs span multiple training sites and are distributed to clinical academic campuses and affiliated regional centers across the province. With the increasing number of learners on Vancouver Island, enhanced administrative coordination between undergraduate and postgraduate medical education is required for the delivery of our amalgamated programs.

This position provides administrative support for assessment and evaluation for Years 1 -4 of the undergraduate program and provides classroom and administrative support for the Year 4 TIPP (Transition into Postgraduate Education and Medical PracticeCourse. This position also provides primary back up for the RJH reception position.

This position is responsible for the daily organization of teaching/exam spaces including organizing and maintaining equipment and provides a high level of customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external instructors.

To fulfill the requirements of this position the incumbent will be required to have early start times based on exam and class schedules.

This position is located off-campus at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, and travel to other sites will be required. This position will be required to work outside of office hours, including some weekends.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement, after successful completion of 3-month probationary period.
- Job Requirements**Experience**:
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to 3 years of experience working within a comparable environment.

**Specialized Knowledge/Education**:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
