**POSITION TITLE: Citizenship Information Officer**
**LOCATION SETTING: Netukulimkewe’l Office**
**172 Truro Heights Road**
**Position Scope**:
The CIO Officer ensures an organized day to day operation of the Citizenship Process Office and duties related to this process. The incumbent will handle a variety of operational functions centered around processing of data, research, document handling, document preparation and working day to day with NCNS zones to ensure file requirements are completed. The incumbent will also provide support for the zone facilitators and the Citizenship Committee.
**TYPICAL DUTIES**:
- Setting up and maintaining files supportive of the established CIO process
- Filing and scanning documents
- Processing information kits
- Researching required ancestral information
- Maintain the enrollment list and update with the recommendations, decisions and amendments as approved by the Chief and President.
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Knowledge of the off-reserve Mi’kmaq/Aboriginal people.
- Strong administrative skills with strong MS Office skills.
- Excellent time management skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Complete confidentiality required;
- Valid Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Salary Range: Negotiable
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
