**CHEO RI has an immediate requirement for an Implementation Science Research Coordinator.**

We are looking for a highly motivated Implementation Science Research Coordinator to join our national research team on an implementation science project related to early intervention for eating disorders. This project endeavours to evaluate the implementation of an early intervention model of care for eating disorders in integrated youth services, with the goals of building high-calibre evidence to facilitate spread and scale of the model across Canada. The Implementation Science Research Coordinator will contribute to implementation support, evaluation, and on-going coordination of activities related to the project, working alongside a larger pan-Canadian team. The Eating Disorder Research team is located within the CHEO RI (Ottawa, Canada), and is comprised of scientists, clinician-scientists, a research manager, several research coordinators and assistants, and volunteers and students. This fast-growing team is recognized as a national leader in pediatric eating disorder research, spearheading several innovative cutting-edge studies that cross-cut health systems and clinical research.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

A) Implementation and Evaluation
- Support creation of evaluation framework
- Builds implementation support tools and resources
- Embeds implementation science in the planning and evaluation of the project
- Support the collection, scoring, coding, and analysis of research data (qualitative and quantitative)
- Efficiently coordinate and assist with the implementation and evaluation of the project, achieving project deliverables and meeting timelines
- Review relevant best practice literature
- Identify, collect, and analyze project information and provide input and recommendations to project team

B) Research and Project Coordination
- Monitor, track and coordinate changes across project activity plans, deliverables, timelines, budget and resources
- Manage and monitor project budgets, invoicing, and associated financial documents. Track all project related expenses against approved budget and report on project variances on a routine basis
- Develop comprehensive and consistent documentation and reporting for project and research execution and control
- Work with project team to evaluate project performance, monitor specific project results and identify ways to increase efficiency
- Support any manuscripts, grant submissions, research ethics board submissions, contracts, or any other reports required

C) Stakeholder Engagement and Knowledge Mobilization
- Coordinate, organize, and chair relevant meetings
- Consult with research, clinical and lived experience experts to integrate evidence-based approaches for the project
- Liaise with research team staff, clinicians, patients, families, site staff and clinical managers
- Determine communication needed for internal and external stakeholders, and ensure ongoing communication and engagement with project partners, stakeholders and project staff in a timely manner
- Tailoring knowledge mobilization efforts to different audiences and produce knowledge products to meet information needs of the projects
- Lead or participate in key provincial and national efforts, and communities of practice or networks relating to the implementation of early intervention.

D) Other
- Ensure that team members perform work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all CHEO Corporate/Departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide support to Project Manager/Leads as required

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILL AND ABILITIES**
- Master’s degree in psychology, health systems policy, public health, health administration or a related field (Essential)
