Contracts Assistant

Working directly with the Contracts Officers and under the general supervision of the Manager, Research Contracts, the Contracts Assistant will:
- Develop relationships with and triage questions from both external and internal partners.
- Manage signature process for all agreements (using DocuSign system).
- Manage administrative requirements for the Contracts Office, including booking meetings.
- Help identify issues with, and barriers to the efficiency of the internal contracting process and work with other Contracts Officers and the Managing Director on strategies for improvement.
**Basic Requirements**:
- A minimum of a college diploma or university degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working either (1) as an administrative assistant, (2) in a clinical research setting, (3) as a paralegal, or (4) another relevant field.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong reading comprehension
- Familiarity with contract language used in legal documents.
- Service-oriented focus.
- A strategic thinker and team player.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to new technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop good working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrates diplomacy, discretion, and good judgment.
- Background and/or interest in the field of health research.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in clinical or basic research.
- Experience as a paralegal or similar
**Contract Details**
This is a full-time, two-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
Annual salary: Min: $56,727 - Max: $66,813
