Dealer Account Representative

One of our divisions is hiring **Dealer Account Representatives**, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team and help us expand our market presence.
As a Dealer Account Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our dealer partners. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. Your role will involve managing dealer accounts, providing product knowledge, and supporting dealers in achieving their business goals.
Work is primarily remote with frequent travel to visit dealers. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission.
**Responsibilities**:
**Develop a Comprehensive Marketing and Outreach Program**:
- Acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of dealer sub-prime financing policies, services, and associated credit risks.
- Understanding competitor dealer financing products, services, and initiatives in detail.
- Conducting market research and analysis to devise strategies for attracting new customers, retaining high-value clients, and enhancing the value of lower-tier customers.
- Analyzing prospect and customer lists to prioritize business development opportunities based on market data and customer analytics.
- Planning strategic sales initiatives for prospects and existing customers through call planning.
**Implement an Aggressive Marketing and Outreach Strategy**:
- Conducting business development calls independently or with the Director of Sales.
- Providing timely and accurate business development reports to the Director of Sales.
- Maintaining a consistent and effective sales calling program.
- Adhering strictly to risk management, compliance programs, internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements to protect the company's interests.
**Support Effective Operations for Dealer Finance Processing**:
- Providing clear instructions to dealers to ensure accurate and complete documentation for new arrangements.
- Assisting in resolving issues as needed.
- Maintaining appropriate and up-to-date customer files.
**Maintains a High Market Profile**:
- Identifying key business contacts and centers of influence in the market area.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and contacts.
- Planning and executing relationship-building activities that generate sales opportunities and provide value to customers.
**Ensure Continuous Attention to Assigned Relationships**:
- Actively seeking customer feedback on OCM products, services, and customer service delivery, and providing solutions to issues.
- Identifying product deficiencies through customer interactions and needs analysis and recommending potential product changes or opportunities to the Director of Sales.
- Delivering a consistently high level of customer service in interactions with both internal and external customers.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
