Digital Marketing Coordinator

**The Opportunity**
As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, through stories, motivational, and instructional content, you engage an ever-growing audience of evangelical Christians to share the gospel with the people around them. You are attentive to the different ways our audiences digest stories and shape them in the most effective ways for each.
You also take great care in helping to shape the stories for print media, knowing how the print and digital sides relate to each other in timing and focus. You are collaborative in nature and play a key role in maintaining consistency across platforms, while being mindful of the channels of communication across the organization.
Success for you is measured by continual growth in activity in our online channels, a consistency of messaging in all communications channels including radio, television and blogs, and a seamless flow of impactful stories throughout the channels.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
**Social Media Specialist**
- Build and execute brand-building social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community (eg. Comment moderation)
- Ensure integration and leverage paid social media campaigns and programs as they relate to the organization's brand and marketing strategies.
**Online Communications**
- work in coordination with the Marketing Manager as the websites are updated and modified to accommodate new strategic initiatives
- Blog writing and content creation as required
**Corporate Communications**
- Manage and create the eblast communications and automation on behalf of the organization
- Maintain brand tone consistency in messaging
- Help shape and provide recommendations regarding communication guidelines, frequency, and coordinate execution
- ShareWord Network maintenance and updates
**Reporting**
- Effective reporting on social media benchmarks
**Department Support**
- Provide department support where needed including project organization, consultation within the confines of your role and expertise, and as required by the Marketing Manager.
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Proven working experience in social media or a related field
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Fluency in English
- A degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
