**PERMANENT VACANCY***
**One (1) Permanent Full-time (1.0 FTE, 35 hours/week) Student Success Program Assistant (12 months per year)***
Commencing as soon as possible.
**WORK LOCATION**:Bluewater District School Board (Chesley), Learning Services - Student Success
**SUPERVISOR**: Kim Harbinson, Learning Services Administrator, Student Success
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**:
To provide clerical support to the adult education and summer school administrators
To assist in areas of school office related responsibilities including assisting with registrations
To assist with inquiries that relate to students, staff, and the public in general in collaboration with the Student Success Program Project Coordinator
To assist staff and students with Brightspace by d2l (training provided)
To keep in confidence all information as it relates to students, staff, parents and Bluewater district school board
Perform general office routines including correspondence, file management, resource photocopying, mailing and reporting
Book, attend and prepare minutes for adult education team meetings
To monitor and/or perform purchasing, accounting, attendance, budget tracking, information systems, travel and meetings
To support dual credit registrations, and
Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:
A Community College diploma or equivalent certification
**ASSETS**:
Advanced skills using Office 365 and experience using Aspen (student information system)
High aptitude in computer operations and skill in the use of software
Knowledge of the Ministry of Education and Bluewater District School Board policies
Strong oral and written communication skills are required
Solid knowledge and understanding of office procedures and the use of office equipment
Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
