**One (1) Permanent Full-Time Itinerant Primary Junior Mathematics Coaches**

**LOCATION**:Bluewater District School Board Education Centre, Chesley

**Commencing**: This position is a secondment commencing September 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024. Following completion of this term, the position may be extended dependent on mutual agreement and the continuation of Ministry funding.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with kindergarten to Grade 6 teachers, including coaching, co-planning and co-teaching to implement an effective mathematics program
- Gather and analyze pre
- and post
- student data to measure outcomes
- Provide and facilitate professional learning regarding effective instructional and assessment practices in mathematics
- Research and investigate evidence-based practices related to mathematics, including differentiating instruction and assessment
- Write reports and project updates
- Communicate regularly with school-based staff, administrators, and the Learning Services team
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A teacher in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/junior qualifications required
- Mathematics additional qualifications required
- Special education qualifications

- Understanding of the 2020 Ontario mathematics curriculum

**Job Requirements**:

- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Eligible to work in Canada
- A valid Ontario driver’s license
