**Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a Vice President, Core Payments and Business Platforms to join the team at Moneris to lead the software development and QA teams for Payment Platforms that focus on the evolution of our platforms and internal systems. You will collaborate with other departments to build new and support existing products with a focus on a unified customer experience that increases product adoption in current and new markets.

**Location**:You will be based in our Toronto office working in a Hybrid Model (preferred), but we are open to other locations with regular travel to Toronto.

**Reporting Relationship**: You will report to the CIO.

**Your Moneris Career - What you'll do**
- Lead the Agile development of Moneris' Core Payments and Business Platform solutions with a focus on customer experience and product roadmaps that align with our overall strategy.
- You will manage the current and long-range direction of technology, both internal and external solutions, by enhancing and implementing the best practices and systems while delivering high quality and repeatable results
- Support the Emerging Solutions business by creating forward-looking infrastructure
- Lead and enhance our Agile methodology for the design, development, test and release of our products and features
- Accountable for full scope of leadership responsibilities including coaching, recruiting, talent development, succession planning, and performance management
- You will partner with the Enterprise Architecture team, architecting systems that can support dynamic and flexible interfaces and evolution
- Help develop Moneris' product roadmap, participate in the strategic and product planning process, support internal and external communication and promotion of Moneris technology vision and solutions
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and build channels of communication across departments to ensure collaboration and achievement of organizational goals to improve products and processes

**Your Moneris Career - What you bring**
- 15+ years of experience in a software development role
- 10+ years of experience leading teams with a focus on leading major changes within a large organization
- Knowledge of Database systems, Enterprise Platforms, Contemporary Programming Language, and the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experienced in Agile methodology and activities including planning, estimating costs, backlogs, and resource allocation
- Lead the architecting, designing and implementation of world class 24/7 operating platforms
- History of managing complexity through collaborations, understanding the challenges of implementation, and process improvement
- Experience improving teams though coaching and resource management and motivate a senior team faced with a significant change mandate
- Cultivate innovation by bringing a global perspective, identifying gaps within Moneris and the industry as a chance to to promote innovation
- Bachelor's degree required. A Master's degree is considered an asset but equivalent work experience may be considered a substitute
