Job Summary

Job Overview
- Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner and submit payroll taxes.
- Creating monthly invoices for review by the leadership group.
- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis.
- Matching credit card statements to receipts.
- Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing. coding, and processing payments.
- Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
- Having a strong knowledge of QuickBooks and all functions related with the software.
- Reviewing employee timesheets and summarizing opportunities.

Other Responsibilities
- Reviewing key documents and formatting as needed.
- Support with marketing material including newsletter.
- Administers/monitors claims management, as necessary.
- Ensuring training schedule calendar is up-to-date.
- Understanding Dropbox would be considered an asset.
- Updating website as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong math skills.
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written skills.
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Develop a sustain level of professionalism among staff and clientele.
- Superior organization skills.
- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.
- Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
- Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
