We are seeking an individual who is looking to become a solid broad-based HR Generalist. The incumbent will be working with an experienced team of HR professionals who are eager and excited to help and train and develop an individual in this newly created role. There is also the opportunity to develop and further a career path in the Mayfair Human Resources department. Our team style is casual and down to earth, and we like to laugh a lot, while remaining highly accountable for our individual duties while collaborating as a group to support each other during times of need.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist) position will perform and manage multiple accountabilities across Human Resources functions relating to the employee lifecycle as well as providing general administrative and coordinative support. The following is a sample of types of responsibilities and tasks within the role.
Human Resources Policies
- Oversees, updates, and manages all aspects of the Employee Policy Manual in conjunction with the HR Manager including recommendations for best practice, changing legislation, compliance, as well the CPSA (College of Physician and Surgeons) accreditation purposes on a recurring basis.
- Ensures updated Employee Policy Manual is made available for employees and managers on Mayfair Connect

HRIS - Dayforce
- The incumbent will train to learn the back end of our HRIS system (Dayforce) across multiple modules including but not limited to recruitment, LMS, performance management, reporting etc.
- Learning and Development
- Responsible for Learning Management System.
- Manage the Dayforce course enrollment reports to ensure that all employees have completed necessary/required training and reaching out to those that have not to ensure they complete the courses.
- Manage enrollment of employees in Citation and ensure courses are completed within set timelines. Follow up with staff as required.
- Management of educational reimbursement requests and annual licencing renewals.
- Manage new hire, annual and one off Dayforce sign offs and follow up with those that have not completed the required signs off to ensure completion.
- Manage the monthly certification reporting to ensure that all clinical employees have the necessary and up to date certifications and reach out to those soon to expire to ensure they send the updated certification.
- Manage recurring training including organizational wide communication.
- Will work closely with HRIS Specialist on troubleshooting of issues.
- Onboarding, Offboarding
- Manage the onboarding administration process for all new hires, including coordinating with key stakeholders to setup IT accounts, request organizational assets (FOBs, Name Tags, Desk Setup).
- Responsible for management of onboarding policies and for clinics, call center, and administrative staff in Dayforce.
- Manage the offboarding administration process for all terminated employees, including coordinating with key stakeholders to close IT accounts, collect organizational assets, and disseminate relevant notifications.
- Backup to HR/HRIS Specialist during times of vacation

Recruitment
- Supports full cycle recruitment processes for internal and external across the three key areas of the organization which are clinics, customer contact centre and head office.
- Areas may include but are not limited to interview setup, prescreening, interviewing, police checks, reference checks, offer letters, new hire forms, coordination of first day details, employee change letters and promotion letters.
- Support the Recruiter with the maintenance of the general templates for all recruitment letters and position descriptions, ensuring they are current and posted to Mayfair Connect as required.
