**Description**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Representative to join our team Reporting to the Manager of Commercial and Inside Sales, the primary responsibility of this role will be to engage with potential customers, both B2C and B2B, to assess their interest in Taiga’s innovative electric vehicles. You will qualify leads, provide product information, and either direct qualified leads to a local dealer or work as a Taiga Sales Representative to finalize the deal. Over time, as you gain expertise with our products and customers, you’ll take on more responsibility for closing deals independently. This role is instrumental in nurturing leads from our growing customer base and ensuring a seamless customer experience while collaborating with the Sales Management Team to clarify and optimize sales reporting and data.

**The job responsibilities include**:
**Proactive Sales Support**
- Proactively engage with potential customers to assess their interest in Taiga’s electric vehicles.
- Qualify leads by identifying customer needs, budget, and readiness to purchase.
- Educate leads on Taiga’s product offerings, emphasizing the benefits of electric vehicles tailored to their use case.
- Transfer qualified leads to a Dealer or act as a Sales Representative for further follow-up and closing, with the opportunity to take ownership of the full sales cycle over time.

**Customer Focus & Issue Resolution**
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt handling of orders, inquiries, and complaints.
- Address and resolve dealer and customer issues, maintaining a solution-oriented approach.
- Respond to incoming requests from existing customers, providing sales and general customer support (e.g., app connectivity, basic product questions, sales promotions, etc.).

**Sales Operations**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the Sales Management Team to provide a clear and actionable review of the sales funnel and customer reports.
- Work closely with the Commercial Sales and Fleet teams to identify opportunities to improve lead management and conversion.

**Dealer Sales Support**
- Provide sales support to dealers, including assistance with product availability, product orders, and product information.

**Product Demonstrations & Travel**
- Occasionally conduct product demonstrations at industry events, showcasing features and benefits.
- Travel as needed, including internationally, to provide training, conduct demonstrations, and support the Sales and Marketing teams.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in sales or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and other sales technologies, NetSuite CRM experience a plus.
- Passion for outdoor recreation, innovation, and sustainability is a huge plus.
- Experience with powersports vehicles and knowledge of the powersports industry is preferred.
- Since we sell internationally, strong communication in English is required.
