Position**:Business Development Representative**
Renoquotes is a young, dynamic and fast growing web company.Founded in 2014, we now service all of Canada. We have helped more than 400 000 people with their renovation projects by offering them a free web plateform connecting them to 3 or 4 of the 9000 certified contractors of our network.
**We are looking for an experienced business development representative** with sales canvassing experience with a track record of signing new business to grow our rest of Canada market.
**Work environement**
Our office is located in front of Jarry parc in a bright open space style loft. You will be joining a happy team that promotes bonding and solidarity. Wearing a tie is optional, or even forbidden. However, wearing slippers is encouraged as it incresases work effeciency. We offer work from home twice a week.
**Your role in the company**
We are seeking a skilled English-speaking Business Development Representative to lead contractor recruitment efforts across Canada.
**Your daily tasks**
- **Cold Calling**: Actively engage with potential contractors through cold calls to build our network.
- **Account Revitalization**: Reconnect with and revive a list of dormant accounts, fostering renewed business relationships.
- **Targeted Sales Growth**: Focus on strategic areas such as Ottawa, Southwestern Ontario, and Central Ontario, offering special promotions to drive increased sales and revenue.
- **Data Management**: Keep an organized and up-to-date Google Spreadsheet to track progress and maintain accurate information.
- **Research and Recruitment**: Conduct thorough research to identify and recruit potential contractors.
- **Sales Experience**: At least 2 years in phone-based sales, with a proven track record in cold calling and signing new business.
- **Account Management**: 2 years of experience in managing accounts effectively.
- **Sales Canvassing**: A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales canvassing.
- **Business Development**: Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including at trade shows.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack.
- **Key Qualities**: Business-minded, proactive, and able to think creatively. Autonomous with strong initiative.
- **Availability**: Able to commit to 40 hours per week.
- **Additional Assets**: Bilingualism and knowledge of construction or renovations are considered strong assets (We provide comprehensive training, so prior expertise is not required).
**Salairy**
$50 000 base
**Educational Requirements**:
Highschool diploma, Post secondary education preferred.
