**Financial Services Division - **This division supports the achievement of ministry outcomes, and the continued delivery of corporate services to clients and stakeholders. The Assistant Deputy Minister of Financial Services and Senior Financial Officer role is shared with Alberta Forestry and Parks.

**Role Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant to the Executive Director of the Financial Services Branch. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Executive Director in managing the operational activities of the branch efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant
- Providing administrative assistance to the Forestry and Parks (FP) Financial Services Branch, assisting the Executive Director (ED) in the ongoing operational management and daily activities of the branch.
- Ensure all materials going to the Assistant Deputy Minister's office (ADMO) have been reviewed for accuracy, are presented correctly, and are on time.
- Manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate agility while taking appropriate action to ensure that inquiries are dealt with in a timely, accurate, and coordinated manner.

**Qualifications**:

- **High school diploma** and a minimum of **three (3) years of related work experience** is required.

**Additional requirements** include experience with:

- Drafting correspondence
- Data entry
- Copy editing
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and
- Adobe Acrobat Pro

**Assets **include experience with:

- Records management
- SAP (1GX)
- SharePoint

**Equivalencies **maybe considered - directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
