As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our team and contribute to our success.
**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Timely process US and Canadian payroll using ADP WorkforceNow
- Calculate supplemental pay (commission/tips/layover) on a biweekly and monthly basis
- Run post-payroll reports and process benefits funding
- Create benefits invoices for the accounting team and ensure billings are correct, payments are made, and eligible employees are enrolled in benefits
- Communicate with benefits partners when questions arise
- Prepare reports and information as needed to reply to auditor or management requests
- Assist employees with personal info changes, timecard edits, and questions regarding pay
- Assist with documentation and improving processes and procedures
- Assist with retrieving resumes through job posting sites
- Assist with onboarding and off-boarding employees
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communications skills - written, oral and interpersonal
**Education Required**:
- 4-year business or accounting degree
- 2 years’ experience in an equivalent position

**Job Type**: Full-time, year-round
**Compensation**: $28 - $32 per hour depending on experience
**Location**: Victoria, BC downtown office
**Ability to commute/relocate**:Reliably commute to our office in downtown Victoria, BC
**Schedule**: 8 hour shift - Monday through Friday - ability to work from home one day a week after training period.
**Travel**:Ability to travel between Victoria, BC and Seattle, WA preferred but not required
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
