Golden Equity Properties has been specializing in the acquisition and management of multi-unit residential properties in the Quebec and Ontario markets since 2001.

This **temporary** position to cover Maternity leave with possibility for a permanent extension.

We are looking full time HR Coordinator to join our growing team in Toronto to perform a variety of Human Resources tasks

**What You Will Do**
- Communicating with Managing Partners and property administrators to determine staffing needs
- Creating, posting, and tracking job descriptions on hiring platform, as well as coordinating with third party placement agencies
- Performing preliminary review of resumes, and conducting initial interviews, with a view to communicating recommendations to senior management
- Conducting integration process for newcomers
- Preparing employment and related contracts on the company’s standard forms, under supervision of legal counsel
- Overseeing the discipline of staff (e.g., conducting interviews and internal investigations, issuing disciplinary letters under supervision of legal counsel, reporting to and communicating recommendations to senior management)
- Sending memo, group policies and other types of announcements (welcome, resignation, official days off, etc..)
- Creating and updating personnel files, discussing and tracking employees’ salary increase/review and providing supportive documents
- Managing team building activities and social events
- Tracking vacation and personal days of employees
- Ensuring the enrolment of qualifying employees into the group insurance plan
- Developing and periodically updating policies related to employee conduct (e.g., harassment, use of company property), with a view to formalizing a general employee handbook

**What You Will Bring to The Role**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Conflict resolutions, employee relation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Professionalism and discretion
- Must have an excellent command of English: verbal and written

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- University/college degree is an asset
- Experience with organizations in the field of real estate is an asset
- Experience in payroll processing would be advantageous
