**Position Summary**

betterment of the world in which we live. We use our impactful research and experiential approach to education to meet the dynamic needs of our local, national, and international stakeholders.

The Executive Education Coordinator supports the development and delivery of executive education, skill-up, and career-ready skills opportunities for the communities serviced by Laurier. The incumbent does this through:

- **Program Development**, by working with partners on the development, implementation, and iteration of program modules, ensuring that learning objectives and accreditation requirements, when applicable, are being met; best practices in program development; effective delivery methods and activities; and considering diversity and AODA needs.
- **Program Operations and Delivery**, by providing coaching to instructors when necessary, coordinating all the logístical supports, and ensuring that partners are remunerated.

The incumbent reports to the Associate Director of Executive Education for the Lazaridis School.

This position has a Lazaridis-wide mandate and is based at the Waterloo Campus. The incumbent provides services to all campuses, requiring regular interpersonal interactions and collaboration with departments at the Waterloo, Brantford, Milton, and Toronto campuses. Special attention is given to ensuring equitable service delivery across all locations.

The normal hours of work are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility in hours will be required, including evenings and/or weekends for program delivery and events.

**Accountabilities**

**Program Development**
- Work closely with program partners in mapping and developing the curriculum for programming.
- Develop the learning objectives and outcomes for each program, ensuring alignment with accreditation and certifying bodies when necessary.
- Customize each program for the appropriate delivery method (e.g., in-person, online, hybrid, or flipped classroom).
- Develop the curriculum for each program, including:

- Practice-based instruction, backed by research;
- Locating existing resources to support the instruction (books, videos, and speakers);
- Opportunities for assessment, for participants and their companies, making use of methods such as templates, reflections, and rubrics;
- Guides and slide decks for instructors;
- Materials for participants;
- Online materials for Laurier’s learning management system (Desire2Learn); and,
- Multimedia and interactive components.
- Ensure that all components of the curriculum have considered issues of diversity (accessibility, culture, gender, Indigenous, religion), when appropriate.
- Ensure that all components of the curriculum comply with AODA standards and Universal Design.
- Use feedback from instructors and participants to iterate the curriculum as necessary.
