**Key Responsibilities**:
**_General Accounting & Reporting Support_**
- Update formulas month-end reporting
- Compile data for Financial Overview Reports (FOR)
- Prepare cashflow projections (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual)
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for all banks and resolve/clear any outstanding issues
- Compile data for month-end accrual expense entries
- Compile data for month-end prepayments amortization
- Assist with verifying and resolving anomalies in AP/AR aging reports and bank reconciliations
- Assist with setting-up tables and spreadsheets for monthly reports
- Assist with monthly profit and loss account analysis
- Compile monthly reports on interest and fines incurred (taxes, vendors, RPRA etc.)
- Compile data for Statistics Canada’s quarterly and annual surveys
- Assist in compiling data for external Audits (Financials, CRA, RPRA, et.)
- Compile and update the cheques register (all bank)
- Maintain checklists for all Accounting Department recurring routines and follow-up on progress

**_ Administrative_**
- Input data with accuracy
- Collect, sort, and distribute all accounting related mail
- Process photocopies
- Maintain appropriate filing for vendors and general accounting documents
- Work on projects within the department and across the organization

**_ Other_**
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Undertake related duties as assigned to achieve the objectives and company goals

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Two (2) year of related experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, Macros)
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience managing a large volume of data
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Analytical and highly motivated self-starter
- Detail oriented problem solver
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment

This is a full-time 6-month contract role working 40 hours a week. Our hours of operation are 8:15am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
