**Summary**

The Talent & Development Coordinator (Events) will provide support in planning and execution of all T&D Team Member initiatives and events primary focus on team member engagement, communication, planning and executing Team Member events for the Home Office, all logistics pre, during and post event ensuring all deliverables are met within the event timelines.

Location: 1425 The Queensway, Etobicoke, Ontario.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Team Members and Leaders from various departments and bakeries to plan and coordinate the execution of events such as Town Halls, Departmental Connect Sessions, Leadership summits, Journey of Wonderbrands, Summer/Holiday Lunches, bakery tours, and any events as maybe required
- Manage the Engagement Budget and all expenses related to T&D company-wide or departmental events
- Lead company Service Award and Retirement Recognition Program
- Coordinate company-wide communications from various departments, prepares the final version of the communication to different audiences
- Conducts monthly audits of company-wide communication distribution lists and sends regular updates to the IT team
- Supports Next Gen program by ensuring local teams have all necessary items for all country-wide Career Fairs
- Support T&D Leaders by maintaining T&D Team contact information, organization charts, communication board materials, and Home Office event calendar
- Maintain ongoing relationships with external vendors
- Ensure all assigned invoices are processed error-free and submitted for payment to external vendor in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Design Team in the creation of communication posters, newsletters, business cards, etc.
- Other administrative duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Initiative self-starter with high sense of ownership and experience delivering projects on time with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Creative yet analytical mindset that leverages data to guide decision making around communications solutions and continuous improvement
- Keen on details with advanced time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and assignments
- Experienced in event planning and customer/client relationship management with experience sourcing and assessing suppliers/vendors.
- Respond well under pressure when faced with sudden challenges and can rectify a situation quickly and clearly with a cool, level head
- Advanced communicator able to craft and edit messages to different audiences. MS Office proficient (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) MS Excel (working with spreadsheets and data)
- Flexible to travel within GTA at various times throughout the year to support with projects
- Have a valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
