Prestige Recruiting Solutions has partnered with our client to recruit for a full-time **Receptionist** based in **Markham, ON**. Our client, a well-established building developer, is looking to hire a Receptionist.

This role represents the face of the company to their customers and, as such, we are looking for a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic Receptionist to provide guests with outstanding service Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. **What You Will Do**:

- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, directing visitors and internal stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner and announces them to the appropriate person.
- Maintains security by following procedures and monitoring logbook of guests coming in and out,
- Takes customer complaints or issues and passes them on to the appropriate parties,
- Coordinates reception, office and kitchen supply purchasing, including monitoring stock of kitchen snacks and beverages.
- Able to work from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
- Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as assigned by management.

**Who You Are**:

- A High School Diploma is required. A College diploma (office administration or related course) is an asset,
- A minimum two years’ relevant front desk (corporate office) receptionist experience,
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook,
- Strong Communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent People skills (all types of people and nationalities),
- Able to work independently and as part of a team,
- Strong organizational skills,
- Ability to multi-task, maintain a calm demeanor, and complete work on time under pressure.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
