**Role Description**:
The National Safety Director will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing safety protocols across our organization at the national level. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring corporate safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. The National Safety Director will collaborate with various departments to promote a safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Directs, develops, and oversees the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization. Ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other regional, local or industry specific regulations and that periodic safety audits are conducted.

Provides programs that ensure a safe workplace including safety orientations, skill training, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment.

Develops a systemic process to collect data and analyze the causes of incidents and generate required reporting. Implements initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards.

Rrequires 5+ years of safety management experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Policy Development:

- Formulate corporate safety policies in line with industry standards and legal requirements.

Compliance Management:

- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.

Training Programs:

- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees at all levels.

Incident Investigation:

- Lead and oversee investigations into safety incidents, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
Safety Audits:

- Conduct regular safety audits to assess workplace conditions and adherence to safety protocols. This can be arranged from a corporate level and distributed to the different Genix companies to complete through OMs.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations, and ensure that our organization continues to qualify for favorable rates.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
