**About the Company**:
**Position Summary**:
The People and Culture Business Partner (BP) has a strategic role in aligning human resources practices with the business objectives of assigned business units. The BP provides comprehensive HR support, focusing on employee relations, day-to-day HR operations, and fostering a positive corporate culture. This role requires close collaboration with the HR team and business leaders to ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies that drive organizational success.

**What you will be doing**:
**Employee Relations**:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
- Investigate and resolve complex employee issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Enhance work relationships by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on handling employee relations issues and conflict resolution.

**HR Operations**:

- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
- Support the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Manage HR documentation, including employment contracts, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices across all business units.

**Business Partnering**:

- Partner with business unit leaders to understand their goals and provide strategic HR support.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to business leaders to drive informed decision-making.
- Identify and address training needs, working with the Learning & Development team to implement appropriate solutions.

**Talent Management**:

- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and retain top talent, supporting recruitment efforts within the business units.
- Assist in workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to achieve business objectives.
- Provide guidance on career development and succession planning, supporting the growth of employees within the organization.
- Facilitate the performance review process, ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with business goals.

**HR Strategy and Corporate Culture**:

- Support the development, implementation, and promotion of HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with business goals and foster a positive corporate culture.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure that HR initiatives are consistent and aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Champion a positive corporate culture by promoting programs that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and overall well-being.

**Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in HR policies and employment law, advising business units as needed.
- Support the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

**You have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A certificate in Human Resources or a related field (CPHR designation is an asset, not mandatory).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex employee relations issues effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and conflict management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
