**A little about the role**
As a Marketing Data Specialist at Konstruct, you’ll be working alongside our accounts and service teams to implement and manage data tracking across our client base.
Auditing, configuring and optimizing analytics systems across multiple platforms will be core responsibilities, along with creating custom reports and dashboards, troubleshooting data issues and tracking discrepancies, and working with tag management systems and data layers to set up tags, triggers and variables to maximize data collection and ensure accurate data.
Implementing and managing consent management platforms, understanding and articulating their impact on data collection and providing support for internal and external stakeholders will be key responsibilities of the role.
Additional responsibilities include understanding server-side tracking and having experience with implementing and maintaining server-side data collection, CRM data integrations, CRM reporting and ensuring data accuracy within various CRM platforms, providing data storage support and using SQL expertise to provide requested access to stored data.
**A little about you**
**Your Experience**:
- 2+ years of experience working as a marketing data specialist (despite your family having no idea what this is when you tell them what you do).
- You are comfortable with all major data analytics and collection platforms, CRM platforms, and data management platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Google Cloud Console, HubSpot, etc.
- Experience implementing and maintaining major data platforms.
- Experience implementing tags, triggers and variables within Google Tag Manager.
- Experience implementing complex e-commerce data-tracking initiatives.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CMPs and understanding and articulating their impact on data tracking.
- Experience in collecting and attributing leads across multiple platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting unique data collection issues in a timely manner.
- You have implemented and maintained server-side tracking platforms.
- Experience working in WordPress.
- You can use terms like “data layer,” “dimensions,” and “variables” effectively in a sentence.
- You know the basics of HTML, SQL, JavaScript and have worked with various websites before.
- You consider yourself tech-savvy, and your family calls you when they have computer issues (not saying you answer the phone).
- You manage your personal finances using a spreadsheet.
- More important than anything: you love to learn - this field is always changing and you love to change with it
